Angela Hummel is a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC™) and is an instructor for The Global Institute of Organizational Coaching, which provides premier coach development offerings from core to master programs leading to coach certification and communities of practice that include a range of offerings for the continued practice development of seasoned coaches. Angela is currently in process for her obtaining her Advanced Corporate Business Coach (CBC™). She owns her own coaching and consulting firm and is a proud alumnus of Bloomsburg University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Communication Studies. She also completed a Graduate Certificate in Organization Development and Change with a Consulting Focus from The Pennsylvania State University in 2018. She is married and a mom to two millennials. Angela is an avid Penn State football fan and enjoys photography, chalk painting old furniture, and collecting vintage china.
Angela is a former healthcare human resources executive and left the role to pursue her dream and return to her passion of coaching and growing leaders through coordinated development opportunities and pivotal coaching conversations. She is an experienced Talent Development Leader with a passion for leadership development and has served in both director- and executive-level roles in multiple industries, with nearly 14 years spent in healthcare. She also has direct work experience in banking/financial services and managed care.
Angela is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP®) since 2007. She earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) in 2014 and is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®) since 2015. She also holds her Registered Corporate Coach (RCC™) designation through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches since 2018. Angela is also certified in the DiSC profile and Hogan assessments. She is a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the local chapters of both organizations (Susquehanna Human Resource Management Association and Central PA ATD). She is a board member for the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way and serves on the Business and Education and Women’s Leadership Symposium Committees of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce. She served as a board member for Junior Achievement, including the Board Chairperson for the local operating board and on the organization’s corporate board. She is invested in the Greater Susquehanna River Valley and has held several leadership roles, with a specific interest in helping businesses grow by educating the incumbent workforce and helping students with career readiness skills. She has been the recipient of several leadership awards from the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber, including the Heritage Award (2011), Guy Tempe Distinguished Alumni Award (2014), and the Athena Leadership Award (2016). She was also named a “Top 100 People” by Pennsylvania Business Central (2013).
