Advancing the Next Evolution of Leadership and Organizational Development

The Global Institute was founded on a conviction: meaningful organizational change requires more than isolated leadership programs or one-time initiatives. It requires disciplined inquiry, evidence-informed practice, and a commitment to understanding how leadership and organizations develop together over time.

We describe ourselves as an institute because our work extends beyond consulting. We develop original frameworks, design developmental assessments, educate leaders and coaches, collaborate with academic partners, and continually refine our thinking through research, practice, and organizational experience. Our purpose is not simply to deliver programs. It is to advance the understanding and practice of leadership and organizational alignment.

Our work is grounded in more than three decades of research, executive leadership, organizational coaching, and applied practice.

Drawing from leadership research, organizational systems thinking, adult development, complexity science, organizational dynamics, coaching, and humanistic philosophy, we continually test and refine our work in real organizations facing real leadership challenges. Every framework we develop has been informed by scholarship, strengthened through organizational practice, and refined through ongoing learning.

Through international faculty, executive educators, university collaborations, and organizational partnerships, the Institute has supported leaders across healthcare, education, financial services, government, nonprofit organizations, and private enterprise. Our work continues to evolve through dialogue with leaders working across diverse organizational, cultural, and geographic contexts.

The word Global reflects more than geography. It reflects our commitment to developing ideas that are informed by diverse perspectives, tested across cultures, and relevant wherever leaders are working to create meaningful, lasting change.

The Institute is committed to strengthening the connection between scholarship and organizational practice.

Our work has been advanced through collaborations with universities and executive education partners, including Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and North-West University in South Africa. These relationships reflect our commitment to contributing to the ongoing evolution of leadership, coaching, and organizational development through both academic inquiry and applied practice.

Our Areas of Inquiry and Practice

The Institute’s work currently centers on three interconnected areas of inquiry and practice: The Aligned Organization™, Generative Leadership™, and The LeaderCoach System™. Together, they allow us to explore leadership and organizational development from three perspectives: the system itself, the leaders working within it, and the everyday practices through which leadership becomes embedded over time.
