Faculty Prof Vinessa Naidoo

Professor Naidoo holds a BCom degree from the University of KZN, a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from Unisa School of Business Leadership (SBL), and a Doctorate in Leadership and Performance Change from the University of Johannesburg. She also has a Postgraduate degree in Teaching from the Haaga Heila University, Finland. She has also completed the Global IOC Master Coaching Program and is a Master Registered Coach (MRC).

Vinessa is a renowned academic within the South African Business School arena for the past 17 years, whilst also being in the higher education sector for the past 21 years. She is currently an MBA lecturer at the Tshwane School for Business and Society (TSB), an examiner and a successful supervisor of postgraduate students for TSB and various other institutions in South Africa.

Professor Naidoo has successfully supervised more than 60 master’s and doctoral students to graduation. She has a passion for marketing, leadership, coaching and business studies whilst being actively involved in various business projects. She has both local and international exposure during her career.

Professor Naidoo is passionate about coaching, especially, coaching business executives to become the best they possibly can be. Her academic interests include leadership, change management, stakeholder engagement, marketing, branding, and coaching.

Professor Naidoo has received awards for research excellence, has published research papers in academic journals and participated in both domestic and international conferences.  In addition, she has a number of board memberships including ones that allow her to contribute to the empowerment of women.
